Michelle Listens LCSW, PC
When relationships feel distant, disconnected, or broken by betrayal, Michelle Delevante helps couples uncover what’s really going on beneath the surface. With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she specializes in guiding couples through infidelity, intimacy struggles, and patterns that keep them stuck.
In therapy with Michelle, you’ll identify the root causes of behaviors, understand attachment styles, and uncover patterns that have been shaping your relationship—sometimes for years. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where both partners can explore emotions, confront trauma, and gain clarity about themselves and each other.
Michelle combines evidence-based techniques with deep empathy, helping couples rebuild trust, communicate authentically, and reconnect on a level that feels meaningful and lasting. Her approach empowers clients to move from reactive cycles to intentional choices, creating relationships that feel alive, secure, and deeply connected.
If you’re ready to face the hard truths, uncover the patterns, and restore intimacy, Michelle provides the guidance, insight, and tools to help you get there—together.
What Is Holistic Therapy?
Holistic therapy is an approach that sees you as a whole person incorporating the mind, body, and spirit rather than focusing only on symptoms or specific challenges. It’s grounded in the understanding that your emotional, physical, and relational well-being are all interconnected.
In holistic therapy, healing goes beyond talking about problems. It involves exploring how your thoughts, emotions, body, and environment influence one another. Together, we bring them into balance. You might notice how stress shows up in your body, how past experiences shape your reactions, or how your daily habits impact your mood and energy.
Through mindfulness, emotional awareness, and practical tools for everyday life, holistic therapy supports growth on every level. The goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and aligned with yourself so you can live with greater clarity, ease, and purpose.
At Michelle Listens, individual therapy provides adults and adolescents with a safe, compassionate space to explore life’s challenges and discover healthier ways forward. Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, or unresolved triggers, therapy helps uncover the patterns that may be holding you back.
In this supportive process, you’ll gain practical coping tools, build emotional resilience, and develop deeper clarity about yourself and your relationships. Individual therapy also nurtures self-confidence, strengthens communication, and creates meaningful change that can enhance your everyday life.
The benefits go far beyond problem-solving—therapy is a journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. At Michelle Listens, you are supported not just in overcoming difficulties, but in creating a more balanced, fulfilling, and empowered life.
At Michelle Listens, couples therapy offers a safe and supportive space to address challenges like communication struggles, intimacy concerns, infidelity, and conflict. Through guided conversations, couples learn to express themselves more clearly, listen with empathy, and resolve disagreements in healthier ways.
The work we do together goes beyond repairing what feels broken. It is about rebuilding trust, restoring connection, and nurturing deeper intimacy. Couples often leave therapy with renewed closeness, stronger emotional bonds, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges as a team.
Couples also come to therapy with many different intentions. While some seek to heal and grow together, others come to find clarity about whether to continue the relationship or to part ways with understanding and respect. Therapy can help couples separate gracefully, reduce conflict, and avoid unnecessary legal battles, honoring the relationship for what it was and allowing both individuals to move forward in a healthier way.
At Michelle Listens, couples therapy is multifaceted. It honors every stage of a relationship, whether that means rebuilding connection or creating a peaceful and compassionate transition forward.
Pre-Marital
Counseling
At Michelle Listens, our 8-week pre-maritial counseling program helps couples build a strong and lasting foundation by addressing the issues that often lead to seperation or divorce. Together, we'll explore communication, intimacy, conflict resolution, trust, finances, familial relationships and life transitions. Our program equips you with the tools to face challenges with clarity and compassion.
Through guided conversations, couples learn to express needs openly, listen with empathy, and strengthen both emotional and physical connection. The goal is to prevent future struggles and to create lasting patterns of respect, understanding, and closeness that sustains a thriving partnership. By the end of the 8-weeks, couples often leave with greater confidence, stronger connection, and a shared vision for the future.
